MozCan Ranch

The 2010 Meize, Mozambique project was to purchase a quantity of land and construct the necessary facilities to enable the Village of Love to operate a small goat ranch. This was a joint project between a Rotary Club, Summerside Community Church, Summerside, PE, Canada and Developing World Partnerships.
This project allows the Village of Love to take their present small goat herd to the level of goat ranching, create a milking program and begin the production of products made from goat's milk. It will also enable them to tan some hides and sell the leather. It will provide husbandry training for some of the older children and a supplement to their diet of rice and vegetables as well as much needed funds to support the work in Mozambique.
